A graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. After graduation she worked in the Philadelphia area and has several years experience in dentistry. Dr. Albandar is a caring family dentist, has a gentle touch, and provides outstanding dental care for all the family. She enjoys treating children and adults, and provides diverse dental services, including fillings, sealants, crown and bridge, veneers, whitening, implant restorations, root canal treatment, extractions, dentures, bonding, and preventive care. Dr. Albandar is also active in local professional organizations and volunteers in outreach activities.
Dr. Albandar is a periodontist and dental implantologist. He earned his DMD dental degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry, Philadelphia. He also has a dental degree from the College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, Iraq. He did his specialist training in periodontics at Temple University. He also has a periodontology specialty certificate and a doctoral degree from the University of Oslo, Norway. Dr. Albandar has more than 30 years of experience in clinical dentistry and the treatment and management of periodontal diseases. He has been serving as Professor at the Temple University School of Dentistry for more than 20 years. Before that he was the Chairman of the Division of Periodontology at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Bergen, Norway. He is a world-renowned expert on periodontal and peri-implant diseases.
